Part of what makes Pride Run & Walk a huge success, is the kindness and generosity of our sponsors. Every year we have some of the most amazing prizes, giveaways and swag, all of which help make our event attractive to new and returning participants.

For a few years now we have partnered with the Vancouver Pride Society (VPS) whose commitment, support and guidance has helped our event grow to the size it is. Immediately following Pride Run is the VPS’s ‘Pride Sports Day’ where LGBTQ2+ clubs from across Vancouver and the Lowe Mainland come together to showcase and demonstrate their offerings. Pride Sports Day also has interactions from some of the bigger names in the industry, like WhiteCaps and the Canucks. Second Beach Park is transformed into a field of activities for people of all ages and abilities along with a lineup of Food Trucks to keep you going and a Beer Garden to enjoy an adult beverage.
Pride Run & Walk together with Pride Sports Day is the perfect kick off to the Pride Season helping you get energized for everything that’s about the follow!

Joining us for the first time in 2018 are our new friends at Forerunners on Main Street (and 22nd). Forerunners were extremely excited by Pride Run & Walk and will be helping us in so many ways, it’s hard to keep track. Supplying our event with package pickup location, advertising, seminars, runs to raise funds for charity, assistance with prizing and so much more.
We feel truly blessed to have their support and commitment to seeing the event grow bigger and better and it’s reassuring to have such experienced and knowledgeable staff to help us where and when we need it.

Volunteers, Volunteers, Volunteers…. You can never have enough and without them, Pride Run & Walk just wouldn’t happen.
Race Force Athletics and Volunteering Club, for those who don’t know, give back to the community by providing volunteers and assistance and volunteer management for sporting events that have a charity component. With a force of over 500 volunteers and growing, Pride Run & Walk are fortunate to have an army of their selfless folks support our event.
